Princess Lorraine and the Baby Dragon is now available on Amazon
How we got started
Everyone says, “language is best learned young.” That got us thinking: why do we wait until high school to teach SAT words? (Those are a part of our language, after all)

We couldn’t find a satisfactory answer. So, we tried something out - we wrote a story that uses SAT-level vocabulary. It doesn’t feel academic. It reads like a regular story. The only difference is that the “big” words are slipped in with just enough context for kids to figure them out on their own.

For example: “The princess was intransigent—stubborn as a castle door frozen shut in the winter.” See? That wasn’t so bad. It’s kid-friendly, accessible, but it’s not watered down.

The results surprised us. Kids as young as three-years-old were able to recognize, repeat, and even explain SAT-level vocabulary words. Once we saw how well it was working, we wanted to share the book with others.
